If you don’t already know about Virgin Media Shorts then you should! It is definitely one of the best festivals in the UK out there today. So with that in mind, we have entered our nice little summer flick The Emotionless Flower into it. It’s never a good idea to gt your hopes up for festival entries, so I just hope they see it as a happy feel good shorts like I do.

Hi everyone, we have been thinking here at the Stake team and we have some great news; a brand new office is being formed where we feel we can really be in touch with everyone we need. All I can say right now is that its going to be in Salford Quays (the place to be!) and that we will be moving there in the next few weeks.
Our next exciting news is that a new website will be here replacing this old mess your seeing now. We feel it’s definately time for a new look. So keep your eyes peeled to see it!

We are working hard entering a number of our films this year into festivals across the UK. So fingers crossed with that one! As well as that, to keep your eyes wet we have made a nice little animation for you.
We we’re lucky enough to catch the 63rd Cannes Film Festival in the South of France this year. The glitz and Glamour was immense! See photos at our facebook page (to your right).
You may already know we are constantly working hard to bring original shorts to the table, with this is mind we are making two shorts at the moment, and also producing another next month!
Some delays have slowed the process down for Dream Maker, but should be ready by the end of April so check out that when its around! For more news anything Dream Maker related, check out the unique facebook page which includes photos and more information about the short.

Hello all, the time has finally come where we really start our relationship with Example Magazine to create Example TV! Basically whats going to happen is we will be filming an interview every month to provide content for Example on there website. The underground music scene in Manchester is the start of it all – watch this space!
January has been a very busy month for us, hence the lack of blog posts!
We have been shooting interviews with Example Magazine once again, and should have a trailer for them out soon (we did a few)… We have also been hard at work editing and finishing off our corporate instructional video with FlameFast as well as continuing our relationship with GetYourEarsOut and editing more band interviews.
So whats coming up in Feburary?
Feburary is definitely going to prove to be our busiest yet!
First up is shooting Example Magazine’s Birthday event at Roadhouse in Manchester. The line up includes:

As mentioned before we will also be churning out Example Mag’s interviews over Feburary and March so keep a look out for those they should be pretty entertaining!
On the home front we are producing two Shorts scheduled to be filmed this month, one of which we have written and will be directing. So its all go over here, exciting times! We’ll keep you updated with photos and latest news of whats happening with the shorts. For more info visit the facebook page.
2010 is here, and we have a lots going on. Corporate DVD’s, music promotions, online media, two short films all in the works – but its not enough! We are looking to film more music videos as its an area we have a keen interest on.
