Protest report filming – anti-ID cards campaign
So I stumbled into a last minute job as a camera operator for a Salford University news report this afternoon. I also happened to have the Stake Productions in-house photographer Daniel Jones with me at the time. So he took some photos, here they are:

Flamefast Corporate Video
We had a very successful day filming for Flamefast on Friday.

We have more work to do in the coming month so we will keep you updated!
Stake Productions attempts first stop motion video!
For a bit of a joke, and for something to do in a spare hour, we decided to make a short and sweet stop motion animation ‘just because’.
Here it is: http://www.vimeo.com/7824028
Stake Productions – we love making things.
Part 1 of new short is here!
The Emotionless Flower [part 1]
So part 1 of our new short film is here: http://www.vimeo.com/7813806
Have a look, tell us what you think, and maybe we’ll see you out there this Sunday as thats when we are filming next!
New short on the way; The Emotionless Flower
If you were around Manchester on Friday then you may have seen two people with a camera and a Sunflower.
This is our latest ‘off-the-cuff’ project that invites the general public to help make a short film about a Sunflower. People react in many different ways when they stand next to this magical flower. Some laugh, some are sad, some cry and some are shocked; it turns out the public are pretty good actors!
Here are some photos from the shoot.

I’ll let you know when it’s finished.

I’ll let Dan update the news in the coming week.

Royal Television Society Awards and Channel M Zeitgeist
Last night was the RTS awards and I was lucky enough to be there as part of the camera crew. It was a long day but the behind the scenes knowledge I gained was really great, a lot more than you can imagine goes on behind an event like that.
In terms of the actual awards, it was good to see some amazing Northern talent being recognised and also a great atmosphere of recognised talent putting two figures up to London media. This certainly was a room full of people that is going to make the Media City in Salford work properly.
Channel M’s Zeitgeist picked up an award or two as well which was really good to see, we will hopefully be working with Channel M a lot more over the coming months and while I’m on the subject, check out a program on Channel M Zeitgeist about George Best as I filmed part of it. It should be airing on the 23rd and 25th I believe.
Ok, that’s all from me now, as usual there is more news about jobs we are doing currently popping up on here all the time, so keep updated.
You can check out our facebook site as well if you want news as and when it happens.
